Unter der folgenden Adresse findet sich eine große Sammlung von Infos über die rechtliche und soziale Lage der migrierten Sexworker in den Ländern Europas.

femmigration.net wurde leider abgeschaltet und existiert nur noch auf den Festplatten der Autorinnen und vielen beratenden Juristinnen etc..

War zu gut, zu fundiert, zu politisch, zu arbeitsintensiv, wurde nicht mehr finanziert.

Deswegen ist SEXWORKER.AT ein so spannender alternativer Ansatz, durch gegenseitige Fach-Information sich unabhängig von politischen Sponsoren fortzubilden. Ich wünsche uns allen, dass wir gemeinsam Wege finden die finanzielle und personelle Professionalität (technische Administration und inhaltliches Lektorat) für die Zukunft sicherstellen können.

nicht nur in Österreich sondern auch anderswo

Habe aus aktuellem Anlaß mal meine erste WIKI-Seite geschrieben:
wiki.sexworker.at: Das historisch bedeutsame Projekt Fem|migration

(Wg. dem aktuellen Anlaß auch leider auf englisch. Sorry.)

Spannend ist es für mich zu erahnen bzw. mich zu fragen, wie Forum und WIKI in Zukunft zusammenspielen werden. Was kommt ins Forum und was ins WIKI? Was habt ihr für Ideen?

Wichtiger ist aber noch die Frage, wie kann das nicht mehr finanzierte Beratungsprojekt für Migrantinnen und Sexarbeiter, das Projekt Fem|migration evt. in neuer Form weitergeführt werden?

Information über ein englischsprachiges Internetportal zu Sexarbeit und Migration, welches leider nicht mehr fortgeführt wurde aber wieder in der Diskussion ist und das auch über die deutschsprachigen Landesgrenzen hinweg.

femmigration.net was a text information system in english about

the 13 EU countries:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and United Kingdom


with one web pages for each country on each of these subjects:

0. country homepage
1. country information general
2. migration (2.1 entering, 2.2 staying, 2.3 leaving)
3. sex work
4. crime victims
5. ciminal prosecution
6. social sexurity/health insurance
7. usefull addresses

Which means at least 13 x 10 = 130 static web pages to be created, juridicaly checked and regularily updated.

Mannaged by Veronica Munk, Katja Habermann (Amnesty for Women, Hamburg www.amnestyforwomen.de ).

Sponsor was the EC european commission Direcorate Gernaral Justice and Home Affairs, Unit C4: Financial Support for Justice, Rights and Citizenship and DAPHNE and German Institutions like City of Hamburg, Foreign Ministry etc.

There was a disclamer already at that time not to be liable for any consequences somehow related to infos on the site.

Rethinking the future of sex work and migration consultancy

It can be understood that professional project leaders, can not continue to work voluntarily, when funding stops, since they have to secure their own existence.

However funding institutions will be hardly impressed by that to take on funding again...

On the other hand it is a long lasting process to apply for funding with international institutions.


So what may be a compromise, which helps the women, the victims and the voluntarily working support community at its best?
